What To Watch: Thanksgiving
The holidays are right around the corner, and for most of us, that means quality screen time with our family. Outside of sports, cable TV is a thing of the past, and streaming is the future.
There's nothing better than enjoying a good meal and a show. This is a curated list of TV and film that you can share with the whole family.
All Her Fault (2025), The Beast In Me (2025), IT: Welcome to Derry (2025)
TV shows available on streaming:
All Her Fault (2025)
Available on Peacock. This is a psychological thriller that will keep you guessing and wanting more. The succession star, Sarah Snook, acts her ass off, really solidifying the tragic role of a mother who has lost her child.
The Beast in Me (2025)
Available on Netflix. I've said it once, and I'll say it again: Netflix leaves no stone unturned when it comes to their limited series. This show follows a writer who has a new, unsettling neighbor who shakes up her solitary, quiet life. Although it has a slow start, it does pick up the pace once you get into it.
IT: Welcome to Derry (2025)
Available on HBO Max. This one is for my horror fans and Stephen King enthusiasts. Giving a brand-new outlook to the classic horror film "IT," this series has me tuned in every Sunday to see what happens next.
Movies available on streaming:
The Hunger Games (2012), Weapons (2025), Eddington (2025)
Movies available on streaming:
The Hunger Games (2012)
Available on HBO Max. A movie that can speak to our current events of what happens when we let the powers of our government go unchecked. The perfect film to watch with the whole family.
Weapons (2025)
Available on HBO Max. A movie that you cannot guess your way to the ending. All but one child disappears overnight, leaving the town wondering who is responsible and where their children are.
Eddington (2025)
Available on HBO Max. Another reminder as to why A24 is one of my favorite movie production studios. What starts off as a classic rivalry between two obnoxious characters ends in a whirlwind of betrayal, cowardice, and absurdity.
Coming To Theaters:
Avatar: Fire and Ash (2025)
Avatar: Fire and Ash (Coming out Friday, December 19th, 2025)
The third installment of James Cameron's sci-fi masterpiece, Avatar, is coming to a theater near you very soon. After the thrilling and emotionally charged ending of The Way of Water, I can't wait to see where this new chapter takes the Sullys. Booking my ticket to Pandora ASAP.
